Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) had an incredible time discussing emerging technology's impact on the community, technology industry, DEI and entrepreneurship. Broadband on the Ballot Today is election day! There are several state propositions on the ballot, one of them being Prop 8, which is a constitutional amendment that would create the Broadband Infrastructure Fund in the Texas Constitution. If you haven't voted already, click the link below to learn more about Prop 8 before you head to the polls.

A Big Win for Community Broadband Thanks to people like you who voiced their concerns and shared their oppinions, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) issued guidance changing the Letter of Credit (LOC) requirement in the $42.5B Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. This change makes great strides towards including small, and community-focused ISPs essential to ending the digital divide.

Austin AI Ecosystem Initiative: Planning Meeting #4 | Thur. Nov. 9 | 5-7 pm CT | Google Austin, Clear Eyes The Austin AI Ecosystem Initiative is a new effort to create a collaborative community of practice for sharing expertise, experiences, and opportunities among Austin AI professionals, AI companies and organizations (based or with staff in Austin), and other Austin companies and organizations that use (or need to use) AI extensively. All AI professionals are welcome, but due to Google security requirements, you must register to attend. Please register by Tuesday, November 7 to ensure access.
