AUTMHQ UPDATE
Hola and Hello,
We hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend! As our country celebrates its independence, think about the things you have that allow you to enjoy different freedoms in life. At #AUTMHQ, we envision a world where everyone is able to achieve financial freedom. One of the ways we help achieve that vision is by helping people enter and thrive in the tech industry so they can have self-sustaining jobs that pay livable wages. At AUTMHQ we also envision a world where funds are equitably distributed to support everyone in our community. If you recall, AUTMHQ joined Equity Action in creating a Community Investment Budget (CIB) that we shared with the Austin City Council. We are now collecting as many signatures as possible to sign our letter to City Manager Garza, urging them to include CIB into the baseline budget. If you agree with our budget recommendations, show your support with your signature before July 7th.
